When there's a mini trip, there's a mini haul.

This past weekend, I went to Green Bay, through Appleton, and to Oshkosh.

As some of you may or may not know, Hmong people are so into "tournaments". I went with my in-laws to go support my brother-in-law; he's a flag football player from the Bomb Squad team. My sister-in-law and her husband just recently moved to MN a couple of weeks ago from AZ. I'm so glad they are closer to us now! She's such a fun person to be around with and actually laughs at my jokes when my husband doesn't. (LMBO)

My S-I-L Yee and I went through the whole tournament in Green Bay to look for treasures. I found my treasures in various booths. I found so many accessories! I usually just go to tournaments for food but not this time! And I actually bought two of those Thai Mistine BB powders! I just love their packagings! =)
This brace is so awesome! It was $1.50. I bought one for myself and my sis.

I love CAMEO rings! It was 3 for $5

Domo was $3

I bought 3 for $5.

I guess I went on a hair band frenzy.

I love this necklace because it looks chic yet Ethnic.

Rings were $1 a piece

I got this from a vendor and told her that I wasn't from around Green Bay and she gave me a discount. I only paid 6 bucks for everything instead of $9! LOL, I love negotiations!

My sissy Yee bought me this wallet and these hair bands for me! Thanks sis! Love ya!

I saw this and said "I GOTTA HAVE IT!"

This was for the bigger box. I love how it looks!

I realized that I only bought a refill for this one... T_T

Stopped by the mall in Green bay and went to Kohl's and Old Navy. Old Navy is having an AWESOME sale now. You receive 50% off marked down items, so you bet, I had some great deals! My sis, Yee bought me a pair of pants from Kohl's. We're so Asian, we try to pay for things before the other person does. We're constantly trying to pay before the other person pays. LOL.

Cute Rompers that I found for $5.24

Shorts were $5.49 each

I love this dress! It was only $7.25

We also went to the tournament in Oshkosh too, but I didn't really buy anything from there. Appleton was where I hit the JACKPOT! They built a Sephora there!  I didn't know that! I walked into the Mall and my expression was "WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT?!!!!!!!!" Catching my hubby, brother-in-law James, and S-I-L Yee by surprise! I probably scared them with my reaction to things. LOL. I didn't buy anything in there but I did spot 5 URBAN DECAY Naked palettes in there. I already have mine but I was tempted to buy some just to sell on Ebay or something, but I passed. I went into Macy's to the MAC counter to get a new Pro Longwear Foundation in NC 20 because NC 15 is getting a little bit too light for me since winter is done and over with. (I THINK! Wisconsin, it can snow at anytime!) I also stopped by the Body Shop to get a Hydrating toner because I was running low on mine.

Happy Shoppings!

The Photo shoot with Keng and Bao

This lovely couple volunteered to be our models for my husband's photography website. I was able to kind of help my husband with the lightings. (I was the reflector holder, LOL)

High waters are cool? WHUUUT?!

Apparently they are in Asia!

No kidding! I seriously feel that Asia is waaaaaay ahead in style. (Not to be bias, eh.... what am I talking about, I am! hehe!)

Do you guys remember seeing Lee Min Ho wearing a lot of "ankle length" pants in Personal Taste? That man can totally pull it off!

Ok, I totally took this from his F.B. page. But you see what I mean? He rocks it!

Here's another picture of him in the drama Personal Taste

I'm not saying that you should go buy your man some high waters but if you do, try websites like yesstyle.com. They have a lot of pants on there that are labeled as "ankle length" or "cropped" pants.

Here's the link.

The Culture

My Husband and I have been married for almost a year. This June will be our one year. Although I am fairly young, our family members have been pressuring us to have kids. We DO plan on having kids eventually but just not now. In our culture, people automatically assume that a woman or couple can't conceive when a couple decides to wait or have been married for a couple of years AND decides not to have a child or children yet. That, I totally am annoyed with. I just plan to get my education out of the way before we start planning for kids. Older Hmong women always say "Have kids now or when you get older, you won't be able to!"

One day, I asked my husband, "What if I am not able to have kids for you in the future? What will you do?" (Because some men tend to leave their wife because she can't have a child for him.) He replied, "We'll just adopt!"

One of my Husband's drawings.
He's a free-lance artist and occasionally sell his portraits.

Oh the struggle of being a Hmong daughter-in-law. Everyone wants you to produce an offspring for your husband.....

The Art of Photoshopping

I've been playing around with Adobe Photoshop CS5, and I've been testing out my skills. Its pretty amazing how you can change the way a person looks or do enhancements.

Here are some examples:

This is the Original Picture
(Those darn bags won't disappear. It appears every time I smile.)

This is what I call SUPER photoshop. (HAHA, not natural-looking)

Now this is the better one. Its more natural and very me. (lol)
I just got rid of my dark circles and a few flaws here and there but left everything else the same.

I had the funniest dream ever last night! I had a dream that Enrique Iglesias was my man and we were driving a fast car! (Actually, I was driving him and having a good time.) Then I woke up due to my neighbor yelling at his bad dog! Darn him!

Please scroll down to the bottom to PAUSE the music before watching! =D

Yes, I am aware that I was out of frame. This was a practice video just for fun.

Question....

So I'm an NC15 with MAC, but its still too pink? Hm..... I use the Pro Long Wear.

Someone tell me why?!!!!!!!!!

Should I just get a color corrector? I don't want to go buy a new foundation just yet. Eh... I'll NC20 since its getting warmer so I'll be going outside MORE. YAY! =D

Attempt = Failed

I tried to record myself doing my makeup and it FAILED! LOL, I was so not in the frame. =( *Cry with Shame*
